Jul 1 Kiki Chess Set

This is kind of a different post for us, as this product is almost eight years old and cannot be bought. But, we're hoping it might inspire some creativity. In 2011, unmentionables designer Kiki De Montparnasse created and released a chess set in limited quantities. The game board which is all black is made of walnut and the all black sensually crafted chess pieces are differentiated by matte and gloss finishes. Did we mention everything is all black? If we read the article from Uncrate.com correctly, one of these would have set you back $10,000. We agree, that's a heinous amount of money for a game, but it's the sexiest way to nerd out with some chess.
